![]() This is undoubtedly my favorite band of all-time. They had an immeasurable influence in my love for loving music as well as for creating it. "G. Love & Special Sauce" should go down in history for not only having the coolest band name of all-time, but for pioneering the Hip Hop-Blues sound that absolutely no one else has been able to produce. My dogs name is G. Love btw. Don't sleep on the dudes. Here are some other awesome songs: This Ain't Livin Kick Drum Front Porch Lounger Dreamin Free At Last Rodeo Clown (he discovered Jack Johnson) Steppin Stone Booty Call Milk and Cereal and many many more Artistry 101 Folks - Righchus 12/07/2009

Hahahaha type in any words (Even if they're made up it still kinda works) and this program will find samples from popular songs and sing the words. hilarious. http://www.sr.se/cgi-bin/Src/sing/sing.asp?key=QQJ8HOH8 The Fresh Lab: Where The Magic Begins 11/11/2009
I cut 2 videos for The Fresh Lab, cause I didn't realize that the 1st one indeed saved. Here they are (didn't know which one to choose): ![]() Let's do this in order of what makes sense. First for artists, producers, or copyright owners, take your azz over to Sound Exchange, and retain the legal rights to your music (with relative ease). This service is also in charge of paying out digital performance royalties. So this means anytime your song is played on digital TV, satellite tv & radio, and the internet, they will pay you your royalties. It's easy, so please go out and protect yourself! ![]() StereoFame also helps monetize music, but the cool thing about Stereo Fame is that you not only get paid for creating music, but you especially get paid for liking good music! Sounds too goo to be true I know, but it is (true). Sign up as a label, and check it out for yourself. Worth Waaaaay More Than 1.5 million 11/04/2009
![]() Whoever ends up with the rights to this is will own a gold mine. This 3D data scan of Michael's head from 1996 (assuming it was taken for the Ghosts short film) will be able to generate TONS of revenue in the coming years. The face can be manipulated for talking, different facial expressions, etc. This means video games, animated movies, commercials, the sky is the limit. In the words of Michael Jackson while receiving "The Artist of The Millennium Award" in 2000 @ The World Music Awards, "You ain't seen nothin yet!". ![]() For those not familiar with the work of David Bryne and/or Talking Heads. This film is a must see. I remember cognitively seeing Stop Making Sense for the 1st time my senior year of high school. I have faint memories as a child, seeing David Byrne in the oversized suit, so I'm sure MTV used to play the movie back in the day. But anyway... David Byrne is a creative genius of music, dance, and concept art. Him, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, and Bruce Lee set the blueprint for my creativity. This concert film will blow your mind no matter what type of music you listen to. Actually if you can tell me with a straight face that you don't like it, i'll give you $5, for real. ![]() I feel like not enough people pay attention to how amazing Daft Punk's helmets are. They cost $65,000 for a reason. Not many artists these days invest that much into their music, much less their visual aesthetic appeal. But as you can see, crafting a vision for your audience is very important. Daft Punk probably wouldn't be nearly as successful without their trademark helmets. The Gorillaz wouldn't be nearly as successful without being cartoons. It matters. We yearn to see what we hear, and now more and more the world is providing us the tools to manifest our "audiovisions". Somethin to think about. Watch this video... inudge.net - this app is a lot of fun 10/18/2009
![]() I'm still working on my social network which will connect musicians with app developers. This is very important to me, because music has very little to do with audio. Audio frequencies are just one means by which we manifest our ideas. The idea is what's important. Apps are the newest frontier in the way we experience music. 1st there was recorded music, then there was the music video, and now there is the app. Someone and/or something has to open the door, connect the players, and spark the revolution. |
