![]() This site allows you to veil all extra stuff around the video (ignorant ass comments, ad, etc., but the coolest thing about this site is it's very unassuming and doesn't even have a logo. Very cool. ***Have you noticed that people go waaaaaay overboard with racism and homophobia in youtube comments. Really for whatever reason it's like a damn epidemic on youtube and really no other sites. Provides me w/ ours entertainment and (side 2 side) head shaking. I'm sure you'll notice it more now that I've mentioned it, but I always found that a bit interesting. Artistry 101 Folks - Righchus 12/07/2009

![]() Augmented Reality is a new technology that is starting to become popular with print publications. It a web based program that seemingly replaces or alters objects in real space-time. Pretty cool stuff and maybe it'll help save the print magazine. I'm sure lickable ads can't do it on it's own. Interesting Fact: Michael Jackson, being the pioneer that he was, just before his passing actually signed off on using Augmented Reality for his Official Opus Book. This book being the first major commercial publication to utilize this technology. So add that to the list of innovative MJ accomplishments. I cut 2 videos for The Fresh Lab, cause I didn't realize that the 1st one indeed saved. Here they are (didn't know which one to choose): ![]() For those not familiar with the work of David Bryne and/or Talking Heads. This film is a must see. I remember cognitively seeing Stop Making Sense for the 1st time my senior year of high school. I have faint memories as a child, seeing David Byrne in the oversized suit, so I'm sure MTV used to play the movie back in the day. But anyway... David Byrne is a creative genius of music, dance, and concept art. Him, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, and Bruce Lee set the blueprint for my creativity. This concert film will blow your mind no matter what type of music you listen to. Actually if you can tell me with a straight face that you don't like it, i'll give you $5, for real. Sweeeeet. ![]() In the coming indefinite period of time, I will most def be using this little tool. Be prepared to receive a bunch of random yet fresh shit from me. The name of the game is MYXER, and it's perfect for entertaining and engaging people while they're on the go with content rich media. This site formats video, images (screensavers/wallpapers), and audio (ringtones) for cell phones and allows people upload, download, and/or share that content with mobile users or on the net. ![]() I feel like not enough people pay attention to how amazing Daft Punk's helmets are. They cost $65,000 for a reason. Not many artists these days invest that much into their music, much less their visual aesthetic appeal. But as you can see, crafting a vision for your audience is very important. Daft Punk probably wouldn't be nearly as successful without their trademark helmets. The Gorillaz wouldn't be nearly as successful without being cartoons. It matters. We yearn to see what we hear, and now more and more the world is providing us the tools to manifest our "audiovisions". Somethin to think about. Watch this video... this is really dope. Amazing multimedia artist. starts off kinda slow. listen for the "shoulder dust off, suit fix, finger snap" sample from MJs live performance of "Dangerous". The second half is where it starts to become brilliant. have fun |
