The Infinite Abyss - Cartoon/Comic Style 12/18/2009
I've always wanted to live simply, and of course Iconic imagery and branding is key to the things that I love and am inspired by, so i'm going to take things a step further. Like Doug Funny and many other cartoon/comic characters, I'm slowly going to simplify my dress style to almost the same thing everyday... other than on special occasions. A new found respect for plant life Again, this is why i want to move to Tokyo! These dudes have developed a flower that reduces pollution. If only Captain Planet were around to see this! Michael Jackson is reincarnated as an EwokForward to 3:50 but watch the whole thing it's hilarious.   For those not familiar with the work of David Bryne and/or Talking Heads. This film is a must see. I remember cognitively seeing Stop Making Sense for the 1st time my senior year of high school. I have faint memories as a child, seeing David Byrne in the oversized suit, so I'm sure MTV used to play the movie back in the day. But anyway... David Byrne is a creative genius of music, dance, and concept art. Him, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, and Bruce Lee set the blueprint for my creativity. This concert film will blow your mind no matter what type of music you listen to. Actually if you can tell me with a straight face that you don't like it, i'll give you $5, for real. The other day I heard Art of Noise's "Moments In Love" on the radio, and it was brilliant. I hadn't heard that song in a while, so of course I decided to research the Band/project. I discovered that their band was based on a futurist book, Art of Noise, which is an extremely prophetic and intriguing book. Long story short, the book discusses many elements that I had planned on experimenting with in due time, but for now I took the track and put it to an older video of my dance slowed down. Can't watch it without laughing for some reason. I think its because it seems a little TOOO epic. Anyways enjoy. Datarock - True Stories 09/11/2009
